ABOUT THE PERFORMERS
Critically-acclaimed and award-winning, Beyond the Pale are one of the leading ensembles in Canada's folk, roots, and world music scenes. Their explosive acoustic sound is inspired by a wide range of cross-cultural influences blending the essence of Klezmer music with other European folk styles (Balkan, Gypsy, Romanian) with contemporary and North American styles (bluegrass, jazz, reggae, funk, and more).

A fourth generation musician, Susan is the sole living purveyor of a klezmer style trumpet and sound which electrified Jewish American audiences for decades.
