THE MAN WHO SAVED A MILLION YIDDISH BOOKS
This talk & book signing with Aaron Lansky kicks-off One Book, One Jewish Community - a citywide celebration of one book. Youngish & Yiddish is proud to co-sponsor the launch for which they've picked the inspirational story: Outwitting History, The Amazing Adventures of a Man Who Rescued a Million Yiddish Books. When Lanksy was in grad school, he & a team of 20-somethings crisscrossed America, retrieving Yiddish books from dusty attics & dumpsters. Outwitting History is a collective love song to brilliant Yiddish writers & their lasting cultural relevance.

Place: Congregation Rodeph Shalom . 615 North Broad Street
Time: 7:00 pm, followed by a reception just for Youngish & Yiddish
